BCN Sports Group
Built from the inside of the game. Driven by a vision bigger than any single season.
How It Started
BCN Sports Group was formally launched in 2026 by Brandon Negron — a two-time NAL Coach of the Year and National Conference champion who spent years building winning programs from the inside before creating an organization of his own.
Long before BCN Sports Group existed on paper, Negron was acquiring partial ownership interests in arena football franchises, learning the business of sports ownership while simultaneously mastering the craft of coaching. Those years of dual investment — in the game and in the business — laid the foundation for everything BCN is today.
The Pensacola Surge is BCN's flagship franchise, set to take the field on the Gulf Coast in 2028. The Coaching Academy opened its first public enrollment cohort in 2026. The mission is the same it has always been: build championship organizations the right way.
Our Mission
"TO BUILD CHAMPIONSHIP ATHLETIC ORGANIZATIONS THAT DEVELOP GREAT ATHLETES, EDUCATE GREAT COACHES, AND CREATE LASTING VALUE FOR THE COMMUNITIES AND PARTNERS WHO BELIEVE IN US."

What We Stand For
Championships matter — but not at the expense of integrity. Every decision at BCN is made with the long game in mind: athlete welfare, community trust, and organizational credibility.
We invest in the humans inside our organizations first. Coaches, athletes, and staff are developed as whole people — not just performers. When people thrive, programs follow.
Mediocrity has no home at BCN. From the weight room to the boardroom, we hold every corner of our organization to the same standard: be excellent, be consistent, be accountable.
Our teams are anchors in their markets. We show up year-round — not just on game days — because we believe sports organizations have a responsibility to the communities that support them.
